Chile & Argentina - Andes to Atlantic (8 days)
Our adventure begins in the modern metropolis of Santiago - Chile's capital, and the cultural and artistic centre of the country. Here we visit one of Chile's oldest wineries and tour the colonial centre before flying south. The charming town of Puerto Varas overlooks Lake Llanquihue, with the green slopes and snow-covered summit of the Osorno volcano in the background, the setting is spectacular. We have time to wander through the lovely streets and along the lakeside before heading inland to the Lakes crossing. The scenery in the region is nothing short of breathtaking, snow capped volcanoes tower from the shores of emerald green lakes amongst a panorama of spectacular mountains. Across the Andes we arrive into the pretty Argentinean alpine town of Bariloche. Our last stop is the stylish and vibrant city of Buenos Aires. You'll love the grand avenues, the outdoor cafes and everywhere the sound of Latin music - what a way to end a fantastic holiday!
