Discover thundering waterfalls, wildlife-rich wetlands and beautiful palm-fringed beaches on a journey through Brazil's diverse ecosystems.
Brazil is a vast country encompassing an amazing variety of natural habitats and scenery, and on this trip we explore some of its real highlights. After time spent in lively Rio de Janeiro we venture south to the awe-inspiring Iguassu Falls, west to the world's largest wetlands and northeast to the tropical Atlantic coast. Along the way we enjoy fantastic bird watching, animal spotting tours and rainforest walks, as well as a range of included and optional activities from canoeing and horse riding in the Pantanal to turtle watching in Praia do Forte.

Day 1: Start Rio.

Day 2: Full day city tour, visiting Sugar Loaf
Mountain and famous statue of Christ on Corcovado.

Day 3: Day at leisure or optional excursions.

Day 4: F ly to Foz do Iguacu.

Day 5: Full day guided exploration of the
Brazilian and Argentinean sides of the falls, including the roaring
Devil's Throat.

Day 6: Fly to Cuiaba; long transfer to Pantanal
lodge.

Day 7 - 8: Pantanal exploration, including bird
watching, motorboat trips, nighttime safaris, horseback riding,
canoeing.

Day 9: Fly to Salvador; drive to sleepy fishing
village of Praia do Forte.

Day 10 - 11: Free days for relaxation on the
beautiful beaches or optional excursions including turtle watching
(in season), colonial town visits, waterfall walks.
