Tahiti & Vanuatu
Tahiti and her islands could easily be described as
"complete perfection". Imagine snorkelling in exquisitely clear and warm
water and seeing a giant stingray float ghostly towards you or watch a
moray eel feeding!! Or perhaps you want simply to lie on a beach of
gorgeous white sand, with a cocktail and watch while others kayak or sail a
catamaran nearby. You might want to enjoy the cuisine with its abundance of
fruits and seafoods. You could even enjoy a cruise around the islands or
perhaps charter a yacht and sail around them.
Overwater bungalows, built over the waters of a turquoise lagoon, are the
perfect way to spend a romantic holiday in Tahiti. Glass bottom tabletops
allow you to watch fish below you, whilst your own private deck is great
for sunbathing or as a launch for yet another snorkelling trip. You can
even have room service delivered by canoe!!
Tahiti is one of the few holiday destinations that lives up to the
absolutely exquisite images you see of it when you are planning your
holiday. The beautiful jade green, turquoise and sapphire blue of the sea,
the lush green of the vegetation and the vibrant reds and oranges of the

Vanuatu - For a relaxed pace of life, and a sample of
island hospitality, Vanuatu's 83 islands can offer it all. You can be
tempted by the French cuisine in Port Vila, snorkel in the lagoons, dive
the wrecks on Santo, explore the volcano and mountain bike on Tanna Island,
or sample village life on the outer islands.
Port Vila the capital has small lagoon and island properties or large
resort style accommodation, great shopping, golfing and plenty of day trips
around the island. You can also cruise on a yacht, do a dive trip or go
fishing. You can always hire a bike, a scooter or car to explore the
island, but watch out for the pot holes! Do visit the Cascades, wear your
reefs for this gorgeous walk. Hideaway Island with its beachfront
restaurant is perfect for a day trip (you can also stay here). Take your
togs and enjoy excellent snorkelling only 10 metres off the beach.
An hour flight from Port Vila will take you to the volcanic Island of
Tanna, where the locals still live in their traditional way. The 4WD Safari
to the top of the volcano will be the most exciting 4WD trip you will ever
experience - expect to be shook up!! If your Volcano trip is staying
through until dark take warm clothes - it gets very cold at the volcano
edge while you are waiting for the next eruption.
