New Zealand - NZ Adventure (10 days)

This 10 day guided New Zealand adventure holiday has been designed to allow more freedom than the NZ Adrenalin trip. You'll still go to all the same stunning New Zealand adventure locations and all meals, accommodation and guest services will be amazing. The main difference is this trip allows for several free days in the itinerary where you can take it easy (something there isn't much of in the NZ Adrenalin trip!), or you can choose additional adventure activities as you go. This is New Zealand Adventure.

Day One:Depart Christchurch after group introductions and trip briefing. Head for the Rakaia Gorge and onto Lake Coleridge for a Jet Boat and High Country Hike adventure. Night 1 in s/c Unit/Apartment Methven - Lunch and dinner

Day Two:Make our way down through the Canterbury Plains and to Peel Forest for hiking options in this timeless scenic reserve. Drive to Lake Tekapo for optional Air Safari of Mount Cook and Glaciers. Night 2 in s/c Unit/Apartment Tekapo - Breakfast, Lunch, afternoon tea

Day Three:Drive to Stunning Lake Pukaki and into the heart of the Southern Lakes themselves. Destination Wanaka where we cross the fords to Mount Aspiring National Park and into the wilderness of the Matukituki Valley. From here we undertake a half day Return Hike to the Rob Roy Glacier adventure. Night 3 in s/c Unit/Apartment Wanaka - Breakfast, Lunch

Day Four:Free day at Wanaka. Relax by the lake or ask our guide to recommend sightseeing and adventure activities. Night 4 in s/c Unit/Apartment Wanaka - Breakfast, Lunch

Day Five:Now we depart Wanaka and make our way through the spectacular Cardona Valley and in to Queenstown. Here many options are on offer for you from great hiking to adrenalin pumping activities. Our guide will of course be on hand for such decisions! Night 5 in s/c Unit/Apartment Queenstown - breakfast, Lunch

Days Six & Seven: Two full days to engage the New Zealand adventure capital of the world. Queenstown has an amazing range of options from bungy jumping, canyoning, hang gliding, horse riding, fishing and wine trails just to name a few. NZ Adventure gives you the option to choose what activities you want to do while in this world famous alpine adventure resort town. Night 6 in s/c Unit/Apartment Queenstown - Two Breakfasts, 2 Lunches. Night seven Te anau s/c apartment

Days Eight & Nine: Spend two days and 1 night Raw Wilderness Sea Kayaking in the remote and beautiful Doubtful Sound. Night 8 camping in Fiordland National Park - Breakfast, lunch, Dinner. Night 9 in s/c Unit/Apartment Tekapo - Breakfast, Lunch

Day Ten:Our final day is spent at the impressive Mavora Lakes before Cross Country and Down Hill Mountain Biking through and out of the historical Walter Peak Station. Finish at the TSS Earnslaw steamship for a well-earned cruise back to Queenstown. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner - Night 10 s/c Unit/Apartment Queenstown

Note: Fitness Requirements: You need to be moderately active and healthy to enjoy this adventure tour. More important is an enthusiastic attitude and give it a go approach. Contact us if you have any health or fitness concerns.

IMPORTANT: THE OVERNIGHT KAYAKING IS A STRENUOUS OVERNIGHT TRIP WHERE YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO BE PADDLING FOR 5 HOURS PER DAY, AND BE CAMPING WITH MINIMAL FACILITIES IN THE NATIONAL PARK. AN ALTERNATIVE OVERNIGHT CRUISE IS ALSO AVAILABLE WHICH INCLUDES A SMALL AMOUNT OF PADDLING; DETAILS OF THIS OPTION ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.

Departures: December to April (NZ summer)

Cost: NZD$4450.00 per person
