Italy - A Taste of Rome (4 days)

Tempo's "Tastes of..." packages are a perfect way to explore the highlights and 'must sees'. This is a perfect introductory package to Rome. You will have the convenience of a pre-booked shuttle transfer to take you to your hotel upon arrival. During the sightseeing tours you will have the opportunity to discover the main highlights and the package includes ample free time to return to the sights independently to explore at a leisurely pace.

Day 1 Arrive Rome
Arrive at Fiumicino airport and shuttle transfer to your hotel (Choose from a selection of quality Tempo hotels ) for 3 nights. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Rome
In the morning enjoy a Classical Rome Tour, taking in the main highlights of the historic centre, such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon
(visit inside), Piazza Navona and the Basilica of St Peter (visit inside, except during religious celebrations). The afternoon is free. (B)

Day 3 Rome
Enjoy a free morning before joining the Imperial Rome Tour in the afternoon. Admire the Piazza del Campigiglio and the Roman Forum before continuing to Circus Maximus, the Pyramid of Caius Cestius and the Basilica of St Paul. The tour ends with a stop at the imposing Colosseum. For all tours after 01 Apr 2010, a guided interior visit is included. (B)

Day 4 Depart Rome
Programme ends after breakfast at the hotel. (B)
