3: France - Tour de France - Spectator Tour (9 days)

This tour has been designed for the non cyclist or 'spectators and fans', who wish to experience the world's greatest bicycle race, while enjoying one of the most culturally rich countries in the world. This is not a cycling tour but a tour that offers French culture, manic Tour de France stage viewing and some good living mixed in! This 9 days / 8 nights tour allows you to see stage starts, passages of the race as it passes through rural areas & small town & villages, and of course, the finale along the Champs Elysees in Paris.
The tour commences in Toulouse, where we have access to the race for the late stages where the ultimate podium finishers are going to be revealed. From Toulouse, we travel into the Pyrenees to see the race cross the biggest climbs and we'll enjoy famous southern hospitality and pristine beauty of the Pyrenees Mountains. We'll wind our way back toward the Bordeaux vineyards before travelling by train to Paris and your chance to see the big finish on the vaunted Champs Elysees
There is an emphasis of course for us to follow the Tour; however we will enjoy other tourist opportunities along the way. This is a different experience from the normal or standard tour that most people join in on but it's an exciting 9 days watching the world's best cyclists in action, watching us do all the hard work of driving and navigating around France.

- Final payment is required on the 30th April 2010.
