Cuba - Explorer (9 days)
Experience the best Cuba has to offer: from the sublime beauty of the Vinales landscape to the crumbling facades of Havana and Trinidad, this small country is filled with the steamy pulse of salsa and a waft of tobacco.
- Day 1: Arrive Havana - Arrive in Havana at any time.
- Day 2-3: Viñales - Drive west into Cuba's "Garden Province" of Pinar del Rio and the famous Viñales valley, famous for its melting limestone hills called mogotes. Stop for a cigar factory tour en route.
- Day 4: Havana - Return to Havana in time for lunch and a half-day city tour. Revel in the bustle, history and rhythms of this fascinating Caribbean capital city.
- Day 5: Santa Clara - Head east to the city of Santa Clara, a revolution keystone and resting place of Che Guevara, where we visit some key historical sites, including the massive Che monument.
- Day 6-7: Trinidad - A trip south brings us through the mountainous Topes de Collantes region and to the southern coastal UNESCO Heritage City of Trinidad. Get your bearings with a tour of the area, then relax and wander the cobblestone streets. In the evening you can't miss the constant music and dancing the town is famous for.
- Day 8: Havana - Travel back to the north coast and Havana for one final night on the town.
- Day 9: Depart Havana
