Australia - Tas - Cradle Mountain & The West Walks (6 days)
Combine the beauty and peace of Cradle Mountain with the excitement of the rugged and wild west coast. Over 6 days we explore one of the largest cool temperate wilderness areas of the world. Between Cradle Mountain and Lake St. Clair, we discover a history of mining and railways, visit a 100-metre waterfall and spend a night at the charming fishing village of Strahan. Carrying only a daypack, we explore the many secrets of the World Heritage Area.
We climb Cradle Mountain to admire the 360ยบ panorama of Tasmania's highest mountains, walk beside the deepest lake in Tasmania and discover rainforest squeezed between deep dark waters and towering spires. Each night we will stay in simple but comfortable cabins along the way. Our experienced and friendly guides look forward to sharing with you these wonderful day walks in the Tasmanian World Heritage areas, in the highlands and on the West Coast.
