Australia - NT - Bungle Bungles Up Close (8 days)
This epic adventure covers the best of the stunning Bungle Bungle Range in Purnululu National Park. Trekking through this colourful region we discover unbelievable rock formations and gorges carved spectacularly into the earth. We explore the Bungle Bungles up close, admire it from the air, whilst at night we camp in their haunting shadows. Swim in pristine clear waterholes amongst towering gorges, and visit the world famous El Questro property and Emma Gorge- a wonderful place to relax, with plenty of beauty to explore.
- Day 1: Arrive in Kununurra.
- Day 2: Drive to the wilderness park at El Questro Station. Afternoon Emma Gorge walk.
- Day 3: Drive to Zebedee Springs and relax in the thermal pools. Afternoon hike El Questro Gorge.
- Day 4: Morning free to explore El Questro. Scenic flight to Purnululu over the Bungle Bungles.
- Day 5: Explore the natural wonders of the Bungle Bungles - including Mini Palms Gorge, Echidna Chasm, Piccanniny Creek and Cathedral Gorge.
- Day 6: Further Bungle Bungles exploration.
- Day 7: Spectacular flight over Bungle Bungles to Kununurra. Afternoon Ord River cruise, enjoy beautiful sunset.
- Day 8: Trip concludes after breakfast.
