Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam Discovery - Free the Bears

This fantastic journey gives you the unique opportunity to visit three Free the Bears South East Asia Sanctuaries. We will have a chance to go behind the scenes at the sanctuaries and see first hand the incredible work being by the Free The Bears Fund, not to mention get up close and personal with the very Bears we are helping support. This trip is very special as it is the first time visitors have an opportunity to see Bears recently released from Bile farms at the brand new Cat Tien Bear sanctuary in Vietnam. What's more you will be joined at the Vietnam sanctuary by Free the Bears founder MARY HUTTON. We also gain a colourful insight into the culturally diverse countries of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

This is a great opportunity where YOU can make a difference. Our trip starts in the hustle and bustle of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh city. Vietnam has been flavour of the month for travelers as it offers so much. From incredible cuisine, to stunning landscapes and now the new Free the Bears Sanctuary at Cat Tien. We will travel to the sanctuary and work behind the scenes with the bears during the day while heading out on game drives in the late afternoon to spot animals in their natural habitat. Of all the Indochina regions, it is Laos and Cambodia that still remain delightfully authentic, where development is still at arms length and where the pace of life moves as slowly as the Mekong River that passes through these lands. We visit the ancient cities of Luang Prabang with its colourful pre French colonisation architecture, wander the tree lined streets of Phnom Penh, explore the incredible temples of Angkor as well as donating our time to help out with the day to day running of the Bear rehabilitation centres at Kuang Xi in Laos and Phnom Tamao in Cambodia. This is a very unique opportunity to be involved with this wonderful fund striving to enrich the lives of the bears.
