Namibia - Untouched Wilderness (12 days)

Dramatic Desert Landscapes - Unique Flora & Fauna - Okonjima - Pre-historic Rock Art

Namibia is one of the world's last great wilderness countries. This tour visits the magnificent sand dunes of the Namib Desert, the German colonial town of Swakopmund and the hauntingly beautiful Skeleton Coast. Travelling inland, see the wildlife of Damaraland and the Etosha National Park before ending your journey at the Africat Foundation's sanctuary at Okonjima.

Afternoon visit to the pre-historic rock art at Twyfelfontein and see the geological features of the Organ Pipes, Burnt Mountain and the Petrified Forest. Transfer by 4 x 4 to an exclusive, luxury tented camp in the Aba Huab for 2 nights, arriving in time for sundowners by the campfire. (B, L, D)

Note: Stays at this tented camp are weather dependent. In the rainy season, from January to March, it may be necessary to stay at Twyfelfontein Lodge or similar.
