Morocco - Southern Morocco Camel Trek (10 days)
A 10-day camel trek into a remote region of the Moroccan Sahara, led by Michael Asher.
A unique adventure led by the renowned desert explorer, Michael Asher. We will travel through one of the most remote regions in Morocco, inhabited by tribes of Arab and Berber descent. The Sahara is the largest desert in the world and we trek along its fringe from Zagora to Merzouga. As we travel through the diverse scenery we will see the rocky, mountainous desert of the Hammada de Gui and the spectacular sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi.
This trek will be the real thing, travelling without backup or technology of any kind, at the pace of the camel - a chance to savour the silence and peace that is only found in the desert.
