Day 1 |
To Antananarivo |

Arrive and transfer to Le Royal Palissandre or similar for 1 night. Afternoon visit to the zoological and botanical garden of Tsimbazaza. (L, D) |

Day 2 |
To Fort Dauphin |
|
Short city tour of Antananarivo. Afternoon flight to Fort Dauphin and transfer to Le Croix Du Sud or similar for 1 night. (B, L, D) |

Day 3 |
To Berenty |
|
Morning drive to Berenty Private Nature Reserve and stay 2 nights at Berenty Lodge. Afternoon dusk walk. (B, L, D) |

Day 4 |
Berenty |
|
Morning and afternoon walks in the reserve. Visit the gallery forest where the ring-tailed lemur, red fronted brown lemur and the dancing sifaka may be seen. Visit the Arembelo Museum and join a night walk in the spiny forest, looking out for mouse lemur, whitefooted sportive lemur and chameleon. (B, L, D) |

Day 5 |
To Antananarivo |
|
Morning walk in the reserve before returning to Fort Dauphin for lunch. Fly to Antananarivo and stay 1 night at Le Royal Palissandre or similar. (B, L, D) |

Day 6 |
To Andasibe |
|
Morning drive to Andasibe via Peyreras, a farm that houses reptiles and insects. On arrival in Andasibe, transfer to Vakona Lodge and stay for 2 nights. (B, L, D) |

Day 7 |
Andasibe |
|
Morning visit to the Analamazaotra Reserve, home to the largest living lemur, the indri indri. Other lemur species to be found here include the common brown lemur and the eastern woolly lemur. Afternoon visit to Mantadia National Park. (B, L, D) |

Day 08 |
Depart Antananarivo |
|
Early morning drive to Antananarivo and transfer to the airport. (B) |
