Botswana - Explorer (9 days)

A unique fully serviced camping safari into the heart of the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls. Large tents equipped with camp beds, pillows, sheets, duvets, lighting and washstand are provided along with a bush shower with hot and cold water and flush toilet is located in camp.

All meals and camp chores are provided by your cook and camp assistant. A fully trained guide accompanies all safaris and wildlife activities are undertaken on foot, in open safari vehicles and by boat. With only a maximum of 7 guests on each safari this ensures personalised service and a quality safari experience throughout.

• Days 1/2: Maun to Okavango Delta - From Maun you'll transfer by light aircraft into the heart of the Delta. Here you will explore the crystal clear channels, islands and waterways by mokoro (dug-out canoe) and undertake game viewing walks on the islands. Your two nights are spent at our Afro Ventures campsite in a private concession area, with a complement of camp staff to cater for you.
• Days 2/3/4: Moremi Game Reserve - You will continue by light aircraft to Khwai, tucked into the north eastern sector of the Okavango. The Reserve was set-aside in 1963 by the Batawana tribe, and is rated as Africa's most beautiful wildlife sanctuary. Your days are spent on extensive game viewing drives.
• Days 5/6/7/8: Chobe National Park - Your travel up to Savute and spend two nights camped next to the dry Savute Channel. Depending on the time of year, huge animal concentrations are attracted to this area, and Savute is excellent for lion and other predator viewing. From Savute you will move up to northern Chobe and camp for two nights in the Serondela area. This is the heart of elephant country and here you will have an opportunity to spend many hours watching the huge herds in and around the waters of the Chobe River. Northern Chobe has beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets, with a large variety of bird and animal life.
• Day 9: Victoria Falls - It's a short drive from Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls. Your stay here is always welcomed as a chance to wash off Botswana's dust, relax over a cold beer, and enjoy the varied entertainment and facilities at Victoria Falls. This afternoon you will visit "Mosi-oa-tunya - the Smoke that thunders" which will give us a spectacular view of one of the world's most awe-inspiring views.
